Wouldn't Dan have loved this.? |
After a lateish start this morning -( wouldn't you know this WOULD be the day the city decided to shut off the water so I had to get creative in order to have a shower and get the dishes done) we got away about 11. Don't you just love kind and generous neighbours.
Tonight we're in Brandon near the home of the Commonwealth Air Training Museum - hence the Sabre Jet. This is such a pretty place with trees so green it almost hurts the eyes. Camping is full service (which means - water/power/sewer) which gives me a chance to brush up on some skills I never though I'd ever need to learn.
Digit is settling in but still not very happy. I think she's missing her little buddy, Nosey Boy who loved travelling in the motorhome and sleeping in shopping bags. Not that the two of them every got along that well, but at least she was always busy making sure he didn't get any special treats,
Carolyn, the problem with the radio was that it wasn't on a station when we turned it on. Works fine now!
So - a bite of supper, a few chores and off to bed - I'm in a different time zone now!
To be continued.......
